Ashford Merino 4Ply Yarn Superwash – 50gm balls
100% Merino 4ply (Fingering) weight yarn. This fine merino is beautifully soft to the touch. The unique higher twist construction of four finely spun singles plied together gives the finished yarn a sleek look with fabulous stitch definition making it less prone to pilling and abrasion. This light, airy and warm. Yet still a very durable and super versatile yarn. Making it suitable for all kinds of knitting, from baby jackets, mittens & blankets through to adult clothing, accessories, shawls and blankets.
A true pleasure to knit, flows on needles, knits like butter!

Beautiful yarn but deliberately chose Snow colour as I was expecting it to be white. Almost the same as the cream I purchased from another brand.
Very happy with the quality of Ashford 4ply Merino. I wanted a finer 4ply for an old Vogue baby pattern that I make quite frequently ,as the wool that I knitted with in the past has been discontinued.This 4ply knits up beautifully.
Purchased this wool to knit baby blanket. Really happy with the colours and the feel and appearance of the wool.

Lovely wool, relatively easy to knit up, beautiful and soft for baby. The only issue I have was that very early into the yarn I was confronted with 2 joins in the yarn. I don’t really understand why. However it’s early into the entire yarn yet but hopefully there won’t be too many other joins along the way. Although this will not sway me from buying again, but it was a little disappointing.
This was my first order and I was very impressed with the accuracy and promptness of my order being received.
