Knitpro, specially designed blocking tools are perfect for blocking wet socks to an ideal shape. They’re made of durable translucent acrylic and are ideal for blocking handmade socks.

Sock blockers are essentially a frame that your hand knitted sock can dry on. Hang them up or lay them in a place that is warm and has good air flow. The more air they can get the faster they will dry.

During your initial wash, the (usually) woollen fibres start to relax and they become softer and more even. Sock blocking helps give the knit it’s form and opens up the stitch pattern.
